Roadworthy Certificates
A roadworthy certificate requires an inspection of the vehicle to check that key components are in good enough condition for safe road use. It is a requirement by law when a vehicle is resold, re-registered or when a previous defect notice on a vehicle needs to be cleared.
As a VACC accredited mechanic and licensed by VicRoads, we have a qualified roadworthy inspector on our premises who can check your vehicle and issue roadworthy certificates if it passes inspection.
What's Checked?
- Wheels & tyres
- Steering, suspension and braking systems
- Seats and seat belts
- Lights and reflectors
- Windscreen, Wipers & Windows
- Vehicle Structure
Please note that a Roadworthy Certificate is not a check of a vehicle’s mechanical reliability or general condition, it is a check on the key safety components of a vehicle. Need more info? Visit us at our Brunswick shop or contact us.
